Guy Davenport
Guy Davenport was a poet, translator and author of several books, including Da Vinci’s Bicycle (1979), Apples and Pears (1984) and The Geography of the Imagination (1981). He was awarded the Morton Dauwen Zabel Prize by the American Academy and Institute of Arts and Letters. He died in 2005.
