Cristhiano Aguiar
Cristhiano Aguiar is a writer and essayist. In 2012 he was announced as one of the twenty Best Young Brazilian Novelists by Granta em Português. Born in Paraíba, he has lived in Recife, Berlin, Olinda, São Paulo and Berkeley. He was editor of the experimental literary magazines Eita! and Crispim. Aguiar’s first collection Ao lado do muro, was published in 2006. He is currently (2012) working on his first novel and also on a collection of essays on contemporary Brazilian literature.
