Wioletta Greg grew up in rural Poland in a house built by her grandfather. Her family kept turkeys in a cage under the table, ducks beneath the attic ladder, and pigs in a pigsty attached to the house. She is the author of six volumes of poetry and a novella, Swallowing Mercury. Her poetry collection, Finite Formulae & Theories of Chance, was shortlisted for the 2015 Griffin Poetry Prize. She now lives in Essex.
