Tove Jansson
The writer and artist Tove Jansson (1914–2001) was the world famous creator of the Moomins and author of a dozen novels and short story collections (including the classic bestseller The Summer Book). Notes from an Island was her penultimate book (written at age 82) and is published for the first time in English.
