Kees Beekmans

Kees Beekmans worked for ten years as a teacher in Amsterdam. ‘Tales out of School’, which appeared in Granta 93, is a translation from his recent book Een Hand Kan Niet Klapt (One Hand Can’t Clap) which is published by Het Spectrum in the Netherlands.
