John Balaban
John Balaban is the author of twelve books of poetry and prose, which have won The Academy of American Poets’ Lamont Prize, a National Poetry Series Selection, and the William Carlos Williams Award from the Poetry Society of America. In 2008, he was honored by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture for work in preserving ancient texts. He teaches at North Carolina State University. For more information: www.johnbalaban.com.
