Jeremy Rifkin

Jeremy Rifkin is best known for his environmental work and his critique of modern technologies. His books include Biosphere Politics, Time Wars and Algeny. He is the president of the Greenhouse Crisis Foundation and of the Foundation on Economic Trends. ‘Anatomy of a Cheesburger’ (Granta 38) is adapted from Beyond Beef: The Rise and Fall of the Cattle Culture (1992), which was published in the United States by E.P. Dutton.
