Henry Marsh CBE is one of the leading neurosurgeons in the UK. He was the subject of the BBC documentary Your Life in Their Hands and his pioneering work in the Ukraine was the subject for the Storyville documentary The English Surgeon. His first publication came in the form of a Granta New Voice in August 2012. His first book, Do No Harm: Stories of Life, Death and Brain Surgery, won the 2015 PEN Ackerley Prize, was shortlisted for the 2014 Guardian First Book Award and the 2015 Wellcome Trust Book Prize and longlisted for the 2014 Samuel Johnson Prize for Non-Fiction.
