Colin Grant is the author of four books, including A Smell of Burning: The Story of Epilepsy and Bageye at the Wheel, which was shortlisted for the 2013 PEN/Ackerley Prize. His play, The Queen of Chapeltown, will be staged at the West Yorkshire Playhouse in September 2017.
