Carlos Fonseca
Carlos Fonseca was born in Costa Rica, but spent his teenage years in Puerto Rico. He is the author of the novels Colonel Lágrimas and Natural History, both translated into English by Megan McDowell. He teaches at Trinity College, Cambridge University.
