Subha
Subha is the name of the Tamil pulp fiction duo Suresh and Balakrishnan. Since 1983, they have co-authored around 550 short novels, 50 longer novels serialised in magazines and more than 400 short stories. Though they still publish the occasional novel, the two friends have been spending more time recently writing for Kollywood (the Tamil-language film industry, with its main studios in Kodambakkam district of Chennai). They’ve co-written screenplays for blockbusters like Ayan (Excellence, 2009), Ko (King, 2011), and Arrambam (Beginning, 2013) and contributed dialogue for several other hit films – many of them directed by their friend K.V. Anand, who staged and photographed the murder scenes on Subha’s early book covers.

Subha
A madman is dead set on blowing up the Taj Mahal, and there’s only one pair of detectives who can stop him. Tamil Pulp Fiction at its best.
