Stephen Rutt is an award-winning writer and amateur naturalist, specialising in creative non-fiction prose. He has written three books – The Seafarers, Wintering and The Eternal Season – about what wildlife can tell us about the world. His writing has also been published in the Guardian, the Scotsman and Caught by the River. He lives in Dumfries with his wife, baby and cat.
