Roy Hattersley is a former British Labour politician, author and journalist. He was Deputy Leader of the Labour party under Neil Kinnock as well as being the author of three novels and several biographies including David Lloyd George: The Great Outsider and The Life of John Wesley: A Brand from the Burning.
