Rayko Baychev was born in Veliko Tarnovo, Bulgaria. He holds a B.A. in Journalism from the University of Sofia and is currently pursuing a M.A. in Arts and Modernity (20-21st c.) at the same university. He is the recipient of numerous literary prizes for his short stories, essays and plays.
