Zoe Tennant’s essay ‘First Course’, a profile of Andrew George Jr. and the first Indigenous chefs to ever compete at the Culinary Olympics, has been nominated for a 2020 James Beard Foundation Journalism Award in the Profile category. These awards are considered the Oscars of the food industry.
