Madeleine Watts’s fiction and essays have appeared in the Believer, the White Review, the Paris Review Daily, Guernica, and Literary Hub, among others. Originally from Sydney, Australia, she has been based in New York since 2013. Her debut novel, The Inland Sea, was published in 2021.
