Lawrence Norfolk
Lawrence Norfolk won a Somerset Maugham Award for his first novel, Lemprière’s Dictionary (1991). It became a bestseller throughout Europe, though not in Britain. His other novels are The Pope’s Rhinoceros (1996) and In the Shape of a Boar (2000).
