Laura Demers has been published in the North American Review and New Voices and was nominated for the PEN/Robert J. Dau Short Story Prize for Emerging Writers in 2017. She was also a winner of The Masters Review 2018 Anthology Prize and a finalist for the Robert Day Award for Fiction. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
