Josef Škvorecký
Josef Skvorecky was born in 1924. He left Czechoslovakia after the Russian invasion of Prague in 1968 and emigrated to Canada where he still lives. His novels include The Miracle Game (Faber/W.W. Norton) and The Engineer of Human Souls (Faber/Dalkey Archive Press).
