Jeremy Treglown’s V. S. Pritchett: A Working Life (Pimlico/Random House) was shortlisted for the Whitbread Award for Biography. His other books include Roald Dahl: A Biography (Faber/Harvest) and Romancing: The Life and Work of Henry Green (Faber/Random House). A Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature and former editor of the Times Literary Supplement, he now teaches at the University of Warwick. He is working on a study of the impact of the Franco regime on Spanish culture.
