Jean Frémon
A gallerist by day (President of the Galerie Lelong, Paris/New York) and a writer by night, since 1969, Jean Frémon has published over twenty works of fiction, poems (a number of which have been translated by Lydia Davis), as well as essays on art, some of which have been translated into Spanish, German and Norwegian, and in English, published in the USA. In 1985 he commissioned Louise Bourgeois’ first European exhibition, in Paris.
