Heidi Julavits is the author of three novels, most recently The Uses of Enchantment. Her fiction and nonfiction has been published in Harper’s, McSweeney’s, the New York Times, among other places. She’s a founding editor of The Believer and a recipient of a Guggenheim fellowship.
