Esther Freud
Esther Freud was born in 1963. Her first novel, Hideous Kinky, was shortlisted for the John Llewellyn Rhys Prize and made into a feature film starring Kate Winslet. Other novels include The Wild, The Sea House and Lucky Break. She was selected as one of Granta’s Best of Young British Novelists in 1993.
