D. Ptryrczwz is one of the heteronyms of a Canadian poet and translator, whose bibliography includes the collections Brand Name/Generation X, Nietzsche Was Right/Hegel is Dead, and Death Comes to Alexander Pope with the ‘Comes’ X’d Out. ‘The Passing of the Contemplative Life’ (a poem in anti-heroic couplets) is from a manuscript in progress with the working title Visitations, Vexations, Translations.
