Vidyan Ravinthiran is the author of two books of poetry: Grun-tumolani and The Million-Petalled Flower of Being Here, a Poetry Book Society Recommendation that was shortlisted for both the T.S. Eliot Prize and the Forward Prize. He has also written an award-winning book on Elizabeth Bishop. He teaches at Harvard University.
