Tomoyuki Hoshino was born in Los Angeles but grew up in Japan. After working as a journalist and studying in Mexico, he made his debut with Saigo no t?iki (The Last Sigh). His novel Ore Ore (It’s Me, It’s Me) was awarded the 2011 Kenzabur? ?e Prize.
