Susan Swan lives in Toronto, where she is an assistant professor of Humanities at York University. She is author of three novels, The Wives of Bath, The Last of the Golden Girls and The Biggest Modern Woman of the World. She has also published two short-story collections, Unfit for Paradise and, most recently, Stupid Boys are Good to Relax With. The Wives of Bath, which was published by Granta Books, was shortlisted for the Guardian Fiction Prize in 1993 and has been made into a film, under the title Lost and Delirious.
