Seamus Deane
Seamus Deane was shortlisted for the Booker Prize for Fiction in 1996 for his novel Reading in the Dark. He is also the author of five works of non-fiction including Foreign Affections: Essays on Edmund Burke (2005) and three collections of poetry including Rumours (1977). He is the editor of the Field Day Anthology of Irish Writing.
