Pierre Clastres

A French anthropologist and ethnographer, Pierre Clastres (1934-1977) lived with the Guayaki Indians in Paraguay from 1963-64. His book The Chronicle of the Guayaki Indians (1972) is published by Faber in the UK and Zone Books in the US.
