Les Murray is the author of thirty four collections of poetry and two verse novels. He won the T. S. Eliot Prize in 1997 and the Queen’s Gold Medal for Poetry in 1999. His poem, ‘The New Hieroglyphics’, appeared in Granta 70. His most recent collection, Waiting for the Past, was published in 2015.
