Laura Oldfield Ford has, since 2005, produced a ‘zine, Savage Messiah, which conjures an England of socio-political upheaval, squat culture, Brutalist architecture and sentimental pop tunes. Many of her drawings have focused on areas of London that were destroyed to make way for the 2012 Olympics site.
‘Walking around the perimeter of the Olympic site has become an act of remembrance.’
