Gyrdir Eliasson is an Icelandic author. His books include a novel The Wandering Squirrel, short story collection Stone Tree and poetry collection A Few General Remarks on the Cooling of the Sun. He is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Icelandic Literary Prize. He lives in Reykjavik.
