Colm Tóibín is the author of eight novels, including The Master and Brooklyn, and two story collections. His play The Testament of Mary was nominated for the 2013 Tony Award for Best Play. He is the Irene and Sidney B. Silverman Professor of the Humanities at Columbia University.
