Brian Booker’s debut story collection, Are You Here For What I’m Here For? (Bellevue Literary Press) was shortlisted for the 2018 William Saroyan International Prize. He has taught fiction writing at the University of Iowa, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and the University of Chicago. He lives in Berkeley.
