Anne McNeill
Anne McNeill is the Director and Curator of Impressions Gallery, of the UK’s leading venues for contemporary photography, and a national charity that helps people understand the world through photography. Anne has curated retrospective exhibitions of the British colour documentarists Anna Fox, Paul Reas and Peter Mitchell, as well as group shows including Beyond the Border: New Contemporary Photography from Scotland. She is currently researching a generation of immigrant punks and trendsetters for a major touring exhibition and publication in 2020. Anne has edited numerous photo books, including Trish Morrissey’s Seven Years, Joy Gregory’s Translating Place, and The Bigger Picture.
