André Barcinski is a biographer, filmmaker, writer, critic and television producer. He is written numerous books, including Barulho: Uma viagem pelo underground do Rock Americano and Sepultura: Toda A Historia. He is producer of the television programme The Strange World of Coffin Joe (O Estranho Mundo de Zé do Caixão) and won the Jury Prize at the Sundanc Film Festival in 2001 for the documentary Damned.
