Caroline Brothers is an award-winning writer and journalist. She is the author of the cultural history War and Photography, the novels Hinterland and The Memory Stones, and contributed a chapter to Susan Meiselas in History. Hinterland was adapted into Flight, a theatrical piece which premiered at the Edinburgh International Festival and is touring internationally. She has written, among others, for The British Journal of Photography, the New York Times, the Guardian, the Sunday Times Magazine, the Observer and Meanjin.
