Aimee Bender

Aimee Bender is the author of two collections of short stories, The Girl in the Flammable Skirt (1998) and Willful Creatures (2005), which was nominated by The Believer as one of the best books of 2005. She is also the author of the novel An Invisible Sign of My Own (2001) and most recently a novella, The Third Elevator (2009). She currently teaches creative writing at UCLA and the University of Southern California.
