As Assistant Editor I support the day-to-day running of the magazine, while also commissioning, editing and publishing work for the print magazine and granta.com. In translation, I have recently enjoyed Simple Passion by Annie Ernaux, which I admired for its precise distillation of love and limerence, as well as Happiness, As Such by Natalia Ginzburg – a tender, gossipy story that is as tragic as it is funny. A book that I frequently recommend: Cassandra at the Wedding by Dorothy Baker.
