As editorial assistant I support across all aspects of the magazine, from reading submissions through to production.
In all prose I am drawn to precise psychological portraits of complicated people, as well as a devotion to rhythm, pace and distinctness of voice. Some writers who’ve helped me crystallise my taste recently: Mary Gaitskill, Janet Malcolm, Percival Everett, Megan Nolan, Lynne Tillman, Camilla Grudova.
