Gravity

Erica Wagner

In this collection of short stories, Erica Wagner examines the fragile architecture of human relationships, illuminating moments of redemption, despair and rare exhilaration.

Her prose reflects a painful awareness of the gap between contemplation and action, word and deed, desire and its consummation. Her defining gift is to write completely about the things that make us incomplete... these are brilliantly soulful tales from the well of loneliness.

Trevor Lewis, Sunday Times

Subtle, articulate, moving and resonant... an impressive debut.
