Maarten ’t Hart has published more than forty books since his debut in 1971. His novels include A Flight of Curlews, The Fury of the Whole World and The Sundial. A biologist as well as a specialist on classical music, in 2019 he published a book about his personal fascination for Johannes Sebastian Bach.
