Tadao Tsuge, born in Japan in 1941, has been a pioneer of alternative manga and leading contributor to the graphic magazine Garo since in the 1960s. Slum Wolf is an extract from the new graphic novel out with the New York Review of Books, translated by Ryan Holmsberg.
