Roddy Doyle
Roddy Doyle has written ten novels, including Paddy Clarke Ha Ha Ha, winner of the 1993 Man Booker Prize. He has also written two story collections, a memoir, books for children, screenplays, stage plays and a TV series, Family. He divides his time between Dublin and confusion. ‘Smile’ is taken from a work in progress.
