Kevin Cummins

Kevin Cummins was born in Manchester in 1953 and has lived in London since 1987. Despite photographing artists as diverse as Albert Finney, Rudolph Nureyev and Courtney Love, he is best known for his photographs of British rock musicians, including Joy Division, The Smiths, Oasis and Manic Street Preachers. He has published four monographs to date, the most recent of which is Manchester: Looking For the Light Through the Pouring Rain (2009).
