Elias Khoury is a Lebanese novelist, critic and playwright. He has published ten novels and three plays, and from 1993 to 2009 served as editor of the weekly cultural supplement of the Lebanese newspaper Al-Nahar. His works have been translated into several foreign languages, including English.
