Anthony Rush

Anthony Rush’s photographs locate personal stories within historical and political contexts. In this series featured in Granta 119: Britain, he focuses on the former military barracks of Lisanelly and St Lucia, Omagh. Built in the 1880s, the 170- acre site was decommissioned in 2007 as one of the conditions of the Northern Ireland peace process.
