Chris Bigsby is the author of a number of books on popular culture, fiction and the British and American theatre, most notably on the playwright Arthur Miller with his work Arthur Miller: A Critical Study widely regarded as the definitive work of critism on the writer. He is also the author of Remembering and Imagining the Holocaust: The Chain of Memory (2006) which featured essays on a range of writers including fellow Granta contributor’s, W. G. Sebald, Primo Levi and Peter Weiss. In 2007 he was elected as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Literature.
