Bobbie Ann Mason

Bobbie Ann Mason was born in Western Kentucky. A film version of her first novel, In Country, was produced in 1989, starring Emily Lloyd and Bruce Willis. Her memoir Clear Springs was a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize. She is also the author of the novels Feather Crowns, An Atomic Romance and The Girl in the Blue Beret, alongside several collections of short stories.
