John Niven

John Niven is a Scottish author and screenwriter. His books include Kill Your Friends, which was longlisted for the Desmond Elliot Prize, as well as The Amateurs, The Second Coming, Cold Hands and, most recently, The F*ck-It List. ‘O Brother’ is an extract from his memoir of the same title forthcoming from Canongate in September 2023.
